Fishin Franks

Just drove over the causeway, people catching fish.
I saw a big scholl of Mackerel, and something big
hitting the surface.
I need to quit driving and start fishing more

It was a welcome change to walk out this morning to cool, less humid air.
It’s also good to hear that the fish are moving up the river. There are still some bruiser reds in the placida area. Fifteen inch snapper destroying small pinfish at the tressle.

Cliff and I went under the 295 bridge in jackson-ville, about 3:pm it is loaded with big jacks busting bait.
Too bad we were working with the Feds, No rods with us. Dang that sucks. we could of had a blast. the school was over 20
feet across. that would have been fun.

There are more and more reports of redfish being caught just north of I-75. The islands are ok, but the south shoreline, has been the place to be.
Break the tail off of a shrimp put the tail on a jig-head. Choose your favorite color. Cast the jig shrimp with 4 feet of the shoreline. Wait a minute Then slowly start reeling it back. those south side docks, have lots of reds under them.

We caught a lot of fish yesterday, lots of fish, me and
the boy, “my son Jake”. We caught reds on cape haze,
Snook up in turtle bay. Trout on the bar in front of
Turtle bay, and we spanked em!
