Hi Frank! I just wanted to thank you for putting a link for Charlotte County Family Magazine on your website! You gave our son, Cameron, his 1st fishing pole ever 14 years ago! We really would love it if you contribute articles in our magazine. Josh and I have received great advice from you over the years! You have always been our fishing guy! Wow , 12 pounds !

Whats up guys just a few more pics

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

Alright guys here it goes last Monday the fishing was off  hook then Tuesday we got half of we got on Monday then Wednesday half of Tuesday but I hit the same holes all week long so Thursday we went prefishing / stouting for Saturday days flastmaster . And we ran down to pine Island and we did see alot of snook but very few reds so we end up on the East wall and I ran the same holes from the week and dam the fish were stack up all over the place but they  just didn’t want to hit anything . And also hit alot of new holes and the same. some were loaded and some just didn’t have any thing in them.

But what I did notices is that the floating grass was being push up on the Island’s And every where the grass got to the back country the fish had move and it was hard finding them so the key is try to stay away from the floating grass but remember this stuff moves with the winds and the tide so everyday is different .

Bait we used was gulp jerk baits and the shrimp 3″  and also we used some select size shrimp. On the bottom and under a float also when looking for the fish look for small finger mullet which I have also notices reds being around and this week I will be taking some with me to see if cut mullet will work cause I’m see alot of  them near the  reds. Alright guys untill next week.

Bassin’… Again

Monday, February 15th, 2010

Went back to the canal on Harbor, and slayed ‘em. we caught 27 including A seven pounder, two fours, 5 threes and the normal ones. All spinnerbaits again, basically the same drill as our past two outings. But the size was finally there. Oh, the pic of the seven does the fish no justice at all. and any saltwater tips are appreciated. Thanks. Tyler

Also thanks to Frank.

More Bass and No Reds

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

Went bassfishing in my lake on monday after school. Caught 23!! They were a little lathargic, hitting moderate moving baits like flukes, and skinny dippers. They were all on beds once again, and very tight to cover. On saterday, we went in the harbor lookin for some reds… not so good. not a fish in the boat, so if anyone went out on sat. and actually caught somthing, please give me some feedback. Im trying to gat better at saltwater. Thanks. Tyler Wallace
