Yeti’s have been makeing a pilgrimage to the sacred temple,
Fishin Franks where the king of the Yeti’s, holds court.
Here is a rather timid Yeti waiting for his audience with his king.
We at Fishin Franks have become used to this Strange yearly event,
And while we enjoy the time spent with our Yeti friends,
it dose that a little getting used to.

Saturday, May 29th, 2010Hey Frank-
Couldn’t afford to feed the MAKO so I decided fish off my dock on Leland. Had a few friends over for drinks and we were catching a variety of small fish with shrimp. I got a LadyFish and hooked it up to a heavier rod and tossed it out. I have picked off a few small JewFish and sailcats doing this but never thought I’d hook into this guy. He made a few blistering runs and wrapped me around a piling across the channel and when he jumped I knew I was in trouble as I have never seen a Snook this size on my line. I’m thinkin this might be as big as the one Greg (your employee) got a few days go. Of course my guest were enjoying the show this monster was putting on and I was in full panic mode. Once he was freed from the piling he made two more leaps and finally gave up. I have no doubt the double line uni-knot you took the time to show me was critical to my sucess, thanks.

Monday, May 24th, 2010Earlier this year a group of Yeti were found on Charlotte Harbor proving the reclusive Florida swamp ape still survives in small numbers.
Scientists suspect they are more likely to show themselves in the winter because their heavy coats are not so obvious as would be the case in summer. Use of sunglasses is likely a more recent development in their attempts to blend in with the great herds of Northern Snowbirds common along the Gulf Coast that time of year.
