Alligator Gar,
If you ride up the Peace rive, you will see swirls on the surface of the
water,
Gars are the most likely cause of these swirls.
They like to lay just below the surface and bask in the sun.
Gars are really tough to get a hook into I find large wide gap kahle hooks
from 4/0 to
6/0 are the best, the shiners under a Bobber.
but a better bait stealer for their size dose not exist.
