Placida trestle
This pier is on the main land side of the inter-costal.
South Pier is on the Island side you have to pay the toll to get onto the island,
The Placida trestle and south pier once connected by a swing bridge when the trains
 ran out to Boca, Now the train no longer run and both ends have been converted into fishing
 piers. This is what it looked like when I started fishing there, the pictures after show
 the new pier rebuilt for fishing.   Yester-year   look at on
