South Pier .
 

Is located on Boca Grande, Island  "Gasparilla"

You must pay a toll to get on the Island.
This pier is famous for Sheep head, and Snook fishing,
In the last few years Pompano and small sharks have been
part of the regular catch, Not to forget the Spanish Mackerel.
 

    This pier is hard to get good pictures of. I need to get there with my camera.

 This gives you an idea of how the area looks on   

As with the wizard, follow the yellow brick road to get to the pier.
 Hint it is the first left turn, once you are on the island.
The yellow is marking the road and parking areas.

After you go around the coroner you will see this traffic light turn Left here.

            This is the bad part. Toll booth I think it is about $5.00 for across & back So that's only $2.50 each way. at least that5 sounds better.

  when you are going across the bridge you will se the trestle / fishin pier, on your left.

These deep water channels are why the fishing is so good here

The top right is Little Gasparilla pass which takes you into the Gulf.
