The Trout fihsing is better in bull bay, bait under floats, in Turtle bay quie a few trout but larger in Bull
The oyster beds just inside Bull bay have a bunch of sheep head. and there is a good possible by catch

fish the deep points for the sheep head. 25 to 35 inch red fish, shrimp on a jig head or
cut fish fish are the key for these reds. Bull bay has some nice reds look for the mangroves
which have some deeper water.

and you will catch a lot, a little better in turtle bay
There are reds in any of the pot holes on the flats.

Trout so head back towards the shack in Turtle bay< In Bull bay toward the west sort of in the middle
the water is deeper there and the larger trout are close to the bottom.
Let your lure sink a bit. Poppin corks for more numbers of Trout jigs or sinking lures for larger Trout

Turtle bay has more Trout and a lot of Bonnet sharks. The Trout are larger than in Bull , they are in smaller packs keep moving
and huge Snook in Turtle bay near the sticks

and there is also some gag grouper , in hte middle there is Trout and blue fish. The bcak of Bull has a lot of reds around the islands. Turtle has smaller trout but smaller and quite a few sharks

There is Trout and Blue fish and possible lady fish. tandem rigs and paddle tails .

They are from tiny to 28 inches, and The Red fish are like that as well
from Rats to Bull Reds they all here, The bigger Reds seem to still be out
on the open flat hitting the shrimp under the poppin corks. That said quite
a few under the mangrove as well just not quite so big

bet, but it could be in both or not at all.
Trout in the middle of Turtle bay is turned on good, a better mix of keeper and smaller fish than the east side

Gallergers has some monster and some small sheep head good fishing in the cut right now

a lot of snook on the edges of the bay , Gag Grouper and sheep head by the shacks.
There is a lot of glass minnows and the fish are in hitting them the small mirrodines and the better bet
In trutle bay just drift a shrimp and or cast small flukes ahead of your drift

You will ned a tandum rig DOA curl tail, that has been the secret weapon,
Cast it ut and jig it back as you drift the open water. If you get a double try to stop with out
making a lot of noise a Stick-it anchor pin or power pole is the key

and there is still some trout out on the open flats, in both Bull and Turtle

Jacks , in side there is some Trout and lady fish, and weird Spanish mackerel or possible blue fish inside Trurtlew bay
The eagles nest has a ton of snook.

Bull bay same as Turtle for the reds they are around the islands. Bull bnay open water has a bunch of nice Trout

are in bull bay. The Reds are scattered but the Snook are bunched if you find one you found several.-

Reds and Snook right now, the Snook are at the mouths and over by the house boats and The clam lease
The red ifsh seem to be under the mnagroves although many seem to be moving out on the open

Snook and red fish are both filling up any holes under the mangroves during the day looking for shade

But the great Snook fishing spot is here in and out of the bays.

and Snook out near or just out side the mouths of both bays. The red fish are scattered around many of the islands, but it is
One here or there you have to work the shore line. Very little to be had anchored up against the shore. It seems like where they are is where they want to be not moving much

 

Fishin Frank & Robert   05/04/17--------  Big Snook in both Trutle or Bull bay
Schools of 5 or 10 Snook, The big Snook go trhogh in these schools followed
by a lot of little buck Snook. The white bait will get you a ton of these smaller Snook
The larger Snook are more of a cut bait thing>

The Snook are right next the islands. the reds are really moving where as the snook are holding to the
holes and through. Fish the Snook top water and jerk baits Trout out in the middle of both bays

The Trout most small ones on the flats. The Snook are holding on the out isde of the bays.
look for the bright sand where the sand meets the grass. Inside Bull bay it's ok mostly what you will
find is Snook which is not a bad thing.

In Bull bay fnd deep water under the Mangroves for Red fish cut bait seems to be the key. A lot of Blue fish
and The balck tips up to five or Six foot long , Lot of mullet.

a lot of Trout. The Tarpon have been in hte back of Turtle bay, More red fish on the western part of bull bay

But a lot of larger big Bull, on the flats is kind of a wow thing and a few Tarpon on the way back hole
in turtle bay.

In the back of Turtle bay there is a wad of small Tarpon, Big Lemon sharks.

Lady fish and some good snook fishing in both bays, If you are fishing here is the bays . DONT touch the mangroves
that will bring out the bugs, no-see-ums of you will run.

the Red fish are back under the mangroves but often they are way back amoung the islands
hard to find, Some better fishing near the mouths for smaller Snook

Fishin Frank, Robert 07/27/18 ------- Bull Red tide, Turtle bay has been ok and there is some good fishing
it is just far enough away. Soft plastic and cut bait are the key and Snook and Lady fish.

Fishin Frank, Robert & Capt Josh Olive- 07/14/18 ------- Getting good Trout and lady fish , the Snook fihsing is really picking up
and watch while you are reeling in your Trout , next thing you know a Tarpon has eaten your Trout and now our 3 pound trout is a 150 pound Tarpon on your line

a ton of mullet and some red fish on cut bait.

you should find a bunch in a group, The Trout in Turtle bay on the open flats
There is some Tarpon in the back hole of Turtle bay

moving water, Lady fish and Trout out in the middle, Lemon sharks and Bull sharks

the back of the bay is too hot, they are in the moving waters.

are steady in the open waters of both bays, More snook in the back of Bull bay,
But Turtle bay seem to have more Red fish, in the back and right at the sand bars at the mouth of
the bay

will produce nice reds but you need to be off of it and cast into it

Trout is ding ok, But work the bushes for the Reds.

nice Tarpon. A lot of Big Snook in Turtle with big baits 12 inches or up for the big Snook. the off shore top water lures

But Turtle bay has been clear,

Snapper are back stealing bait, when you are trying to catch your red fish,

Lot sand lots of Snook in any of the holes on the flats during low tide and when the tide is at a 1.4 or better the Snook are under the trees. Tons of Fish out side both bull and turtle bay.

as the day goes on switch to White flukes, Bigger Trout in Bull bay average 20 inches for the Trout in Bull, look for a bit deeper water

You will ned a tandum rig DOA curl tail, that has been the secret weapon,
Cast it ut and jig it back as you drift the open water. If you get a double try to stop with out
