Tippy Canoe Bay
Just off the Myakka River It is a very shallow shore line.
with a middle of the bay depth which averages 4 foot.
making it a great
place to drift or anchor and
catch Spotted Trout most of the cool winter months.
While I have caught both Red fish and Snook along the shorelines of Tippy,
it
is not regular or even steady action,
you work hard for what you find.
The 3rd picture show a few spot that have
done well in the past, Keep in mine it is really skinny
getting back into there.
It is great scenery, and very few people venture back
here, it's quiet & peace full,
even thou the fishing is not as
good, I like it for the solitude.
