Robert &  Capt. Josh  06/22/2024 — Mixed reports. Lots of mangrove snapper including some good keepers. A few small bull sharks. A few cobia, including at least one keeper. A few small snook. Juvenile tarpon rolling but not hooked.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  06/08/2024 — A lot of mangrove snapper, including some fish up to about 14 inches. Lots of little snook and a handful of small trout. A few undersize cobia and good numbers of baby bull sharks.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  06/01/2024 — A few small trout and a handful of keepers. Lots of mangrove snapper, mostly short. Juvenile tarpon early in the morning (hard to hook). Itty-bitty baby sharks also.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  03/16/2024 — Powerlines have had a few trout, also under the bridge. Some small mangs and a couple sheepshead. A few undersize snook and at least one over the slot, but no keepers reported. Baby bull sharks too.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  03/25/2023 — Lots of snook at night, mostly short but a few slots. They're taking paddletails and live shrimp. A couple small redfish are around, and there are random trout and sheepshead around the power lines.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  03/18/2023 — Nighttime snook are thick; most are undersize. Daytime anglers are getting some mangrove snapper, black drum and trout from the docks. Gar have been cruising the area.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  03/11/2023 — Snook are fair at night, with only a couple legal fish caught. Trout and mangrove snapper during the day. Black drum are around.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  03/04/2023 — The snook are doing good at night until an hour after sunrise. A few trout, mangrove snapper and black drum also. Kind of expecting cobia reports soon, but not yet.

Fishin Frank & Robert's report--03/30/15------ whiting and Spanish mackerel. Big fish Tarpon or snook dark hours are the best, I think it is just a matter of car traffic, too noisey during the day light hours and after dark they can find the lures better

Fishin Frank & Robert's report--03/22/15------ Snook first thing early before day light on a ttr-11 throw right next to the bridge pilings and twitch the lure back. The day light hours has had quite a few Lady fish and on and off Spanish  on the west side or Harbor side of the bridge. trolling to find them is the best bet. Once you find them Small jigs or spoons are good.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  05/20/2023 — Some small mangrove snapper (no keepers), a couple whiting, a few Spanish mackerel, a few baby bull sharks (no blacktips!), a few short cobia and one keeper. Snook and tarpon of assorted sizes at night. It sounds better than it is, really — let's call it sporadically good.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  05/13/2023 — A little better. Two keeper cobia and several shorts were caught this week, so a whole bunch of anglers have turned out. Small bull sharks, some snook at night, a few whiting (cobia bait), and a couple juvenile tarpon.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  07/22/2023 — Sporadic and slow, but there were some mangrove snapper reported and one angler caught 4 sheepshead. Small snook are around, as are small trout, and some dink tarpon have been caught at night. A few baby bull sharks are cruising the area.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  07/15/2023 — A couple baby bull sharks, some mangrove snapper and snook, several short cobia. The bite is slower than it could be because the water temps are in the 90s.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  09/16/2023 — A few mangrove snaplets, one baby bull shark, some snook at night (mostly small), and a few juvie tarpon around sunrise.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  09/09/2023 — A little slow, but there have been some snook reported at night. A couple small trout and mangrove snapper have also been caught. Some black drum were spotted but not hooked.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  09/02/2023 — Lots of little snook and a handful of slots, mainly after dark, on live and frozen shrimp. Juvenile tarpon rolling around the area. Lots of catfish also.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  12/02/2023 — Some snook at night, and a couple redfish reports. Small bull sharks and xtra-small mangrove snapper are also around.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  12/31/2022 — Evening snook, daytime trout and redfish. Mangrove snapper also showing up. However, no great numbers of anything. A shrimp on the bottom or cut fish is probably the way to go. Watch out for the catfish and stingrays if you fish dead bait.

Robert &  Capt. Josh  12/24/2022 — Some snook, a few trout, one redfish, a couple black drum, and a couple smaller sheepshead. Wouldn't be surprised if evening snook fishing and trout action improves in this area.
